Human Cognition in Evolution and Development.

Description:

Cogsci 201 is taught Spring 2008 in conjunction with Cogsci 304 (MW 5-6:15pm, 111 Crawford Hall). Cogsci 201 is a large, foundation course covering many aspects of human cognition in evolution and development. Cogsci 304 is a small, seminar course exploring the evolution, development, and operation of a basic mental operation in human cognition. Students enrolled in both courses are invited (not required) to coordinate their work in the two courses.

Cogsci 201 is an introduction to the descent and development of the modern human mind and its exceptional capacities for innovation and creativity.
