Description:
We will explore the descent of the modern human mind and its exceptional
capacities for innovation and creativity, with emphasis on art, science,
religion, language, technology, mathematics, and other singularities.
The writing component of the course will concentrate on how to recognize
and master styles of writing, both academic and nonacademic, with emphasis
on styles useful during a career.
